Yori - The Land of Jitter-Bug Insectoids
Insectoid Yorians are keen and suspicious observers, paying attention to danger and potential trouble, both in their physical environment and in their relationships. Their antennae are always up and on high alert, filtering out truth from lies. They have excellent truth detectors and ask a lot of questions to ascertain enough facts to appease their anxieties.
Yori was once the capital city and most prosperous city in the land. After the insect wars, Yori was reduced to rubble. Now it is home to a variety of poor, homeless remnants of a great people. It has been suspected by the Agency that Yori has become an underground hideout for the rebel army. Yori has become the main focus of investigation. For Kyro, F.A.C.E. 6, this city represents broken trust. When trust is broken, it is difficult
to let one’s guard down, and suspect that others are only out to harm him, creating imaginations of suspicion, often leading to misidentifcations.
High in the towering mountain of the Agency dwells a committee of special agents who keep a watchful eye on their world. From this high vantage point, vision is magnified and here they can find safety and security from the unknown dangers of the outside world. This tower represents the high mind of F.A.C.E. 6, who lives in mental spaces to process information and gather Intel to make decisions from a vast committee of influencing voices.
Kyro is a warm, friendly character, yet initially keeps himself distanced from others until he has time to scan them with his antennae to determine whether or not they are safe. Once Kyro has found a worthy friend, he is fiercely loyal to them for life. Kyro has a very active mind that is constantly in motion, questioning everything and everyone. He has a tendency to get anxious, and when it becomes severe, his head antennae can spin out of control creating chaotic tornadoes. Kyro scans the airwaves with his large antennae eyes and collects information about himself and others. He then records it on special scrolls so he can either give or sell the information to others, to simply keep it for himself to help him make decisions. However, when his secret scrolls become enchanted by a rogue agent named Vula, the words suddenly jumble up and become confusing, scrambling information. Kyro will need help deciphering his writings to gain clarity of what he sees. Without the correct or complete story, he can be quick to sense danger and become fearful, acting with aggression, and striking out against others before they have a chance to strike at him.
